The Heart is Always Searching (5)  by xoxundefined

Joe's POV

As we were driving, I mean as I was driving - Felicia kept mumling to herself. The only words I could make out were, "Nick, Lying, and Trust." It was all very confusing, yet it made more sense to me after a second.

After a while, we were getting close to the resturant. All of the sudden Felicia stopped talking and started to mess with the radio. She finally found an un-static station, and her favorite song was playing. "I Don't Wanna Be In Love(Dance Floor Anthem)" by Good Charlotte. After the first verse I saw a little dance action, but like she was dancing on the inside. I laughed quietly to myself and kept driving.

I thought about it, and it seemed somehow as if now was the right time to break the news, that she probably didn't want to hear. 'Breaking Up' thing, was not going to be easy.

"Felicia..?" I started to say, but was cut off by the ringing of Felicia's phone.

Hey, Hey
You, You
I don't like your girlfri-

She pointed her finger in the air.

"One minute, baby." She said, grabbing her phone to answer it.

Felicia's POV

"Hell-errrr!" I said, answering my phone.

I didn't bother looking at the screen of my phone before answering so, I had no clue who was on the other line.

"Hey Licia!" th evoice on th eother line said.

Automatically I knew who it was. It was my older sister Chrysta, I knew her voice from anywhere, plus she was the only one who called me Licia.

"When are you going to come back from that dang Jonas house? You practically live there!" Chrysta said.

"Chrys. I'm not in there house, just there car." I said, giggling.

"Very funny, NOT!" Chrysta replied.

"Ooh, whatever. You are the who always talks about or is with Kevin. And anyways, I was home until 2:25 we could've chilled then. Alright Missy!" I said, mocking her.

"Whatever to you too. Well, just be home for 6:30, cause I am taking you out!" Chrysta said.

"Out where?" I asked curiously, and remembered I was still in the car with Joe & he was about to ask me something. "Chrys, I will talk to you later. Ooh, yeah-See you at 6:30! Bye!"

"Bye." she said.I hung up and turned to Joe.

"Yeah..?" I asked.

"Oh, right. I need to talk with you, but I am not sure, well-" Joe started, but this time he was interputed by his phone this time.

Can I get, get, get
To know kn-kn-know
You better better
Baby

"Are you goint to get that?" I asked, because he looked at the screen, but ignored it.

"I wasn't, but I guess I will." Joe replied.

Joe answered the phon eand after about 30 seconds of silence from Joe, I heard yelling from Joe and the other line. Then Joe hung up his phone, and he looked ANGRY.

"What was that all about?" I asked.

"YOU!" Joe yelled back, still furious.

"Me? Wh-wha-what? Hold on. What did that phone call have to do with me? Who was that?" I asked, confused.

"Yeah, you! It was YOUR bestfriend." he yelled, but not as loud.

"You still never answered my question. What does that have to do with ME?" I said, getting mad too.

"This is not how I planned this, but-" Joe said, calming down.

"Not how you planned what?" I asked, nervously.

"Well, I am not going into details, but I think that we should see other people." he said.

"See other people, huh? Why?" I said getting upset.

"Because, I love you, more as a sister then like a girlfriend. I am sorry, plus I think that Nick.." Joe started but I cut him off.

"Yeah, okay." I said, tearing up.

I started to open the door and Joe slammed on the breaks.

"Are you crazy? The car was moving." Joe screamed.

"No, you are the crazy one." I said, opening the car door and gettin gout of the car.

I just started walking along the sidewalk. Joe pulled over on the other side of the road and I saw him get out of the car. He started to walk across the street, but I just looked at the ground. Then I heard a loud screech from a car. I turned around and saw Joe lying in the middle of the street, with a car flying down the the other way. I ran over to him and fell to my knees.
