Don't know how this passed me by. As sick as he is in other stories I would have never thought about this angle. But with that leave he's still thinking about it???? Great research!

It's funny, some Bible scholars do (and I have to agree)actually believe that Adam wasn't the first created man but that he was the first created man given the breath of life from God - given a soul -like you said. Makes sense because who did his children marry?

Thanks, all. I was worried about lengthening and extendng the storyline too far. With this we're at about the half-way mark which, I think, creates a bit of a problem in that it could leave the last, or next to last, chapter very little wiggle room!
