First time that formatting has been a problem for me. I know many you have had problems... well, it's not as bad now, as it was forty-five minutes ago...lol. |

Ooooooo! The phone call to home was creepy! Just how I like it! LOL I love the connection you have put between the killer and the doctor. He knows her, therefore he knows her daughter, explaining why he called from the school. He's close, but we don't know who he is yet...exciting. I think you are (at least as far as I have read through the entries) the only person to begin tying up the connection. I also LOVE the introduction of the Native American detective. This really resonated with me because I have similar ancestory and have often considered this the possibilty for my "gift". You tapped into her ability to leave her body and fully experience, first hand, those that reach out to her. You are the first person to do that...and I appreciate the insight and homework! You are leading us to a path that actually allows Adara to discover and possibly put to use the abilities she has struggled with all of her life. My only concerns are that you described Adara as experiencing Nona's death, when in actuality, she experienced the death of someone who is not yet dead and that we have no new murder revelations yet. |

I have never heard of it...I'll look it up if I ever get to the library. The only book I have ever read of his is Eaters of the Dead. |

LOL..nope, Michael Crichton..also an favorite writer of mine. I'm such a fan of SK, though, that I find it hard to understand when someone doesn't know of is work or read any of his books...lol. Sure, the world is way bigger than I thought..;o). I think, based upon what I've seen you write and the type of stories that get you "fired up"...that you'd like Stephen King..alot. Oh, and Dean Koontz. |

By the way..based on your jarring comment that brought to light my major goof on this chapter...I re-wrote it - Thou Shalt Not Kill (3A). |

ah, yes.... Michael Crichton....I am sooooo bad with names! The movie did the book no justice! I will make sure to read the re-write....there seems to be a few that I need to get to. :) Sorry that my first comment seemed so "jarring". I didn't mean for it to be hurtful. Being a Sagittarius, I have a proclivately to speak before I think...and I need to remember that when people don't know me that this can seem harsher than I intend for it to be. Thanks! |
