Discussion of "The Shrink and the Zombie Killer - 2" by writerwannabe

Oh, just post it already, it's great as is. I honestly felt like I was actually learning something, but not in the boring, classroom kind of way. Great job. By the way, I loved how you kept describing the shrink's responses to his explainations and his reactions to that. Brillant!

Thanks, so much, dkk...;o) I'll give it another read later and publish it.

Glad I could provide some interesting facts (well, theories) in an unboring way. The rest of the story is gonna get gory, I'm afraid...lol

Gory can be good. You've set up a few building blocks along the way so far, so if you go 'gory' then it's like puttin' the roof on, then burning the whole thing down! LOL

By the way, (in case you didn't realize) I read the first one, loved it, and left you some comments on that too!

I love how the story has thus far been dialogue. I learned a lot about your favorite theory in this one. Thanks for that. I look forward to learning more. :)

As for gory, I don't usually read gory. But for you, I'll make an exception. :)

This is great stuff, WW. You've got an evolving character who quotes both the Heisenburg Uncertainty Principal together with Napolean Hill as he's admiring God's perfect set of legs and cleavage. I love this cop/detective of yours. My only problem is the sad fact that my Dr. Furst never looked anything like your Dr. Furst. Neither did my Dr. Second, my Dr. Third, my Dr. Fourth, nor my Dr. Fifth!

LOL...actually al, I don't bloody understand the Heisenberg Principal. Just trying to understand it gives me a headache. Fortunately, I stumbled across some layman explanations on quantum theory and mechanics and soaked those up.

As to Napoleon Hill...yep. He and Dr. Joseph Murphy wrote some incredible stuff, sort of precursers to the current rave, "the Secret". Hill couched his philosophies in getting rich while Murphy used religion and prayer to get his message out; but, the underlying message is the same. The power of the mind can alter physical realities.

I've finally figured it out. Wwb is Stephen King's more prolific cousin! So many stories, such little time, always enjoyable...Keep it up man!

This was the first thing I picked to read. And I'm glad I did! To be honest, it was the title that grabbed me. There are a handful of agents that I know of that are looking for offbeat and clever Zombie stories, which this is.

This was just plain fun to read. Kudos!

Thanks for reading and commenting, morticiarose
...;o)

I'm taking a break from writing here in order to finish my novel (not zombie..lol), but your mention of agents you know of looking for offbeat zombie stories could entice me to finish this one.

If you'd like to write me, my email is lexallen@yahoo.com. I'd like to hear from you.
