1. Who should die next and how?
2. How deep should Jake's condition be?
3. How long should it take to really take hold of him?

Great rewrite writerwannabe.....this is awesome work. My main objective in what I wrote was to keep Jake alive and let him transform. Since Pyscho_77 pointed out that it was important to keep him alive, as it goes since most horror movies keep certain characters alive
throughout the story. This is incredible work and you kept it closely related to my chapter and that was honorable of you to do so. But your twists and turns, short of genius! When you made Jake come from the bedroom in a seemingly normal state... brilliant man, brilliant.

Thanks, guys!! So, which of you will take the next chapter? I'm dyin' to see it!

I didn't intend to "rewrite" your chapter, but I did "steal" a bit of yours, I guess...;o). I'm glad to see that you're not upset about it. I certainly did not want to step on your toes, rather to give it a little different twist.

These are your author numbers... also, these are the storyline numbers, as they are the storyline you will start. I want to shoot for a max of 6 weeks for timeframe... all chapters for all 8 stories must meet this deadline... I am going to post this on a story on each of your pages... If you cannot meet a deadline, there are 2 subs you may contact and use, I will inform them that they will be alternates because they wanted to take part but did not get in fast enough... they are writerwannabe and wsells... you may sub out to either of them or any other author taking part in this endeavor.

The chosen start chapter will be October Chill because it has a lot of potential...

Each storyline will have a unique name, but, to keep things from getting confusing, each subsequent chapter will start with the name of the storyline, colon, then your chapter name...the way that my Cry-baby Bridge series is titled through the subsequent chapters, if you are unsure of what I mean, check it out... this will help keep us all organized... once all 8 initial Chapter 2's are published, I will break down the randomized chapter assignments and post them for everyone to look at so that I may use the storyline names to assign them out... I will post them as a comment on THE ORIGINAL POST that I made announcing this endeavor... It will be the responsibility of each of you to check back to see the assignments AND comment to acknowledge... Sunday is going to be the official start, so 6 weeks from then, we should all be finished... good luck to each and every one of you... and have as much fun with this as possible... if this works out well, I plan to host another and any one of you may feel free to do the same, I just hope I get invited to take part...lol...

I just read the story start.."October Chill" and it's a fantastic choice. I'm amazed that no one has mashed it, yet, not even the originator!

If you want to study the artful, subtle, and suspenseful transformation of a human character into a vampire, read Stephen King. Heck, copy his style. The human/vampire thing is old and overworked, but King handles the subject better than anyone else I've seen.

Agree...big, big fan of SK. I don't know if anyone mashing this story is decided, yet, on what kind of monster we have but, you're right, the transformation process itself is worth following regardless of the final product. I'm sure glad you wrote that in English...it takes me a loooonnnggg time to translate...lol
