Oh, wow. I thought it was going to be like a Interview of the Paranoid...but the last tiny bit blew that idea out of the water. I like you style and pacing. Very effective and the cliff hanger had be cringing! I thought the scene where he was leaving the message and his wife running to the phone was excellently written. You've got me hooked, my fellow Texan. LOL

This was beautiful, Wwb. I loved the ending when she raced to the phone. That in and of itself showed how deep the relationship between husband and wife went. Wow.

Whoa, wonderfully written. I loved the use of the German language, I'm Cajun myself and I find myself using French/Canjun words from time to time.

I enjoyed reading this, it has good explanation and a good twist to it. However you repeated "a nook, a cranny" several times in the story. I don't know if you meant to do it but it got a bit repetetive. However it was good to read :)
