            “My Fairy-God-Mother,” she said softly.

            “You have one? He asked her with a ring of pleasant surprise in his voice.

            “Yes,” she slowly looked into his eyes.

            “So did my mom,” she said taking her into his arms.  “Will you marry me?” he asked looking down at her.

            “Yes, but I must return home and tell my Step-Mother and Step-Sisters.”

            As they arrived at Cinderella’s home the Step-Mother had already arrived and was very angry.

            “Cinderella, where have you been, you hussy!  Running off like… Oh my!  Your Majesty.”  Cinderella’s Step-Mother already reddened face went pale as she recognized the Prince who face showed anger.

            “Hello, Step-Mother,” Cinderella said sweetly.

“My dear woman,  I came here to ask you for your Step-daughter’s hand in marriage, but I can see that I do not require an answer from you,” the Prince said tartly.

            With no further words from the Prince, he took Cinderella’s hand and Cinderella said a final sounding, “Good-bye” and…
