….Cinderella’s father re-married.  He was so happy with his new wife, she was so refined and beautiful.  She also had two daughters name Charlotte and Annabelle around Cinderella’s age.

Both were pretty girls, Charlotte the eldest was tall and somewhat thin, and sometimes Lord Tucknor wondered if she had any thoughts of her own rambling around in her head.  Annabelle was of average height and always reading books and starting debates on the topics.  Lord Tucknor didn’t find it very lady like.

Cinderella was happy at the idea of having a new mother and two new sisters, she had thought some of the loneliness of not having a mother would be replaced for the love she knew she would have for her new mother. 

Cinderella  soon found out she was wrong.  She discovered that they were mean and selfish and only thought of having the best, in order to be better than anyone else.  They spread rumors if it was to their advantage, and they treated Cinderella like she wasn’t even a part of the family. 

 But her father didn’t seem to see this side.  He worked harder and harder and was gone more and more from home, to earn an income.  It seemed that there was never was enough money to please Lady Tucknor.
