Page 19

 

            …her Step-Mother recognized her and the necklace.

 

            Lady Tucknor advanced on Cinderella with a most unladylike march.  “Cinderella, that is mine.” She said as she snatched the necklace.  “What are you doing here?  Where did you steal that gown?”

 

            Cinderella was to frightened to say anything.

 

            “We’re going home, before someone sees that gown.  You are a disgrace.  Your father would be so unhappy that you keep acting like this,”  her Step-Mother said leading her out the door by the arm.  “Are you coming or am I going to have to drag you out of here.”

 

            “Yes, Step-Mother, I’m coming,” and shook off her Ste-Mother’s hand and then whispered softly, “latter.”  Then headed for the garden, hardly seeing her way through the brewing tears.  There in her way stood the Prince.

 

            “Who are you,” the Prince asked…. Page 29

 

            She walked past him and started…. Page 30

 

            She walked past him and started… (ending B) page 50
