Stormy was so excited that they were almost there, that he kept jumping around; practicing his rumbling and spitting out little sparks.  He was so hyper that he was getting on everyone's nerves.  Finally, his dad told him to run ahead and play and they would catch up with him.  "Maybe he'll get some of that energy out of him by the time we catch up", his dad laughed.  Someone said, "Or maybe he'll be more charged up"!!!  Everyone burst out laughing, which to people on the ground sounded like very threatening thunder.  Stormy, meanwhile had gotten quite awhile ahead.  He was having so much fun exploring new things in the sky that he didn't realize how far ahead he had gotten.  Just as he decided to sit and wait for them while rested, when something different and unusual caught his attention.  He floated over to it, quite intrigued.  He tried calling to it, but it ignored him and kept flying higher and higher.  So, Stormy put in a little burst of speed and reached the thing.  He hovered in front of it, but no matter which side of the thing he went around, he could never see a face.  'This is very odd", he thought when all of a sudden the thing hit a tree branch and with a loud POP, exploded and went into several pieces.  Stormy realized he had discovered one of those weird things his father talked about once, BALLOONS!!!  Stormy couldn't wait to tell his dad about the balloon he had just encountered, but when he turned around and around in circles.  He started to get really scared when he couldn't see anything for a really far off.  He sat there and started crying and his tears were really starting to fall.  Meanwhile, his father was at first irritated when he couldn't find Stormy anywhere, then he too, started to get scared.  He told the others to go ahead to Donna, that he had to go and find his son.  Of course, none of them would think of letting him go by himself.  They went flying along, calling out Stormy's name.  The people on the ground were really getting worried at the intensity of the thunder and lightening.
