Thoughts of A Test Taker  by tyzzler12

"You may begin your tests.......... Now."

I had always hated that; being timed while I was doing something of importance. Forced to do something without the freedom of being able to take my time. Although, I guess everything had always turned out okay.

I could usually pull off a B on a test I hadn't studied for, but it wasnt until my sophomore year, that I realized I could get an A if I put effort into it.

This, however, was my freshman year, and Ashley Callahan sat directly in front of me. My nose pulled my face away from my test and towards Ashley. She was wearing Abercrombie, I could tell. Anyone who was anyone could identify Abercrombie from 20 yards away.

"5 minutes remain, before we will conclude our tests"

I softly muttered under my breath, get focused. Ashley had somehow heard me and turned her head to the side for a brief moment, but not all the way around.

Name the element with the highest melting point: _________________

I was drawing a total blank, all I could think about was talking to her, but I couldn't, I didn't have ashot with her, no way. I traveled deep into my knowledge of the elements, and the only one that sounded right was Tungsten. Okay, moving on.

Who was the first--

"Students, please put your pencils down, you are out of time"

I had over 10 problems left. Girls would prove to distract me many more times, and this was only the beginning.
