Raindrops glistened on the streets, as they reflected  the city lights they began to flash a multitude of fluorescent colors. The sky was a lonely gray, the blue had been completely drained,like a leech sucking the blood from someone's body, leaving only the pale gray aftermath. Crawling through the crowd of people i wondered how many times i had passed you before something had finally clicked.The feeling pierced my body and began coursing through my system only quickening from the pace of my drumming heart.My body tempature went into a frenzy,at moments i hugged myself; my body feeling chilled and othertimes i was burning up, a  sudden fever rushing to my head causing my vision to suddenly blur. It happened in a matter of seconds, that it was more a vision or a dream than reality. My mouth felt numb and everything was tasteless,as if it had been scorched by a cup of coffee that had been too hot.The familiar beeps of the taxis and shuffle of people's feet  fell into silence as i glanced at you and began to run. As i threw my arms around you,i inhaled the clean mixture of rain and soap in your hair, letting it cleanse my senses. I stood in a stupor as the noises came back and hit me like a semi truck,making me take a step back. I looked up at you and watched as you turned the corner and began to rush forward,turning that corner and vanishing from sight.
