Discussion of "The Light, and The Darkness" by theblackhand

Pretty cool, blackhand. Definitely has epic potential. I like the whole light vs dark, good vs evil theme. it could go in many different directions. i am curious to see where you take this.

I was quite intrigued by the story line, and wonder just how many ways this story can go.

Have you ever read "The Book of Joby" by Mark Ferrari? A similar, though somwhat more lighthearted take on this theme, and, to date, one of the best books I have ever read.

Hey, great job! It kind of gave me chills when the darkness was talking! Very descriptive of the two beings. Minus a few grammatical errors, I think this was VERY well written! I can't wait to read the next chapter!

Pretty good stuff you have here. Reminds me of the book of Revelations or some parts of Divine Comedy. Very epic(...and frightening) in nature. I would like to see where you go with this one.

This was a very good beginning. I wonder which direction he will go. So tempting to give in too doing as you please instead of following the path of good. Looking forward to reading the next chapter.

Good start! I would have liked to see more held back. Let the Darkness show what it is...not tell. I really dig the feel of it and I believe it touches an experience we all share alone at night when we are visited by our sadness of the past and the hope of the future.

Very intriguing and you do a great job with the unsettling atmosphere the dichotamy between good and evil creates.
