Eternal Me (draft)  by theblackhand

I am about to crack under the strain of it watching me.  The eagerness of it wanting me to try anything to provoke it kept me fearful of any movement.  I knew that given the chance, the canine would rip me apart.  It was trained to kill...trained to be obedient to its master, to be relentless when it attacked any prey, to be victorious in all fights.

Even when the headlights of cars shone through the room, casting a light I could see it pacing and staring. It looked ready for anything  A low, baritone-like growl escaped its throat when I repositioned myself against a corner of the room.   I knew that it would only attack on order, or unless I tried to escape.  Still, I am afraid. Not just of the guard dog, I am also afraid of the people who brought me here.

They are in another room deciding what to do with me.  My body aches and I am bloody from the beating I took, but I didn't talk.  I didn't tell them anything.  How long can I stand strong without saying anything scares me even more.  The next time they may not be so lenient. They know that I am still capable of pain.  That is their least worry.  They realize that they have other things to content with.  I have to hold them off as long as I can.  If I continue to refuse to give them the secrets to my discovery, they may try to lock me away, and the years of isolation without any contact from the outside world would drive me insane.  That is what they are strategizing on.  I am certain of that.

Who even knew that it was possible?  That I would make such a find that had always been considered impossible?  When they came for me, I was covered in it. Head to toe.  It had been killing me to know how it would affect a full body immersion.  I wanted to know it's intensity.  When I came back to the surface from my immersion there they stood.  They had somehow infiltrated my security system.  Getting out of the tank, some of the liquid landed one of their hands.  The guy raved about it as I laid in the back of an SUV, after being forced to get dressed and driven here. I have no idea where I am at.
