Alex found Audra smoking a cigarette in the parking lot.

"What the hell was that in there?  If you want me to fire her I can do that." Alex said angrily, imitating Audra's voice rather poorly.

"I'll do anything for this bar, and if that means firing my best bartender, I can do. You're replacable." Audra inhaled the cigarette smoke deeply, closing her eyes to get the full taste of it.

"Are you kidding me? I'm the best damn bartender on this side of Angeles."

"Angeles has more sides than you know." Audra shot back.  Her voice was firm, Alex knew she couldn't win.  She recoiled.  Audra ran her fingers through her thick blond hair almost to mock Alex.  Bartending was the only thing Alex was good at; she needed this job.  Instead of answering Audra, she stomped away to her car.

She furiously clicked the unlock button on her keyring.  She noticed a set of footsteps behind her.

"Audra if you're gonna god damn fire me, well then-" she stopped.  Behind her was the man she'd run into.  "Sorry, I thought you were Audra."

The man smiled gently.  "It's ok." his lips were lifted into an embaressed smile.
