I saw the old lurkers lurking and I couldn't help myself. A party is a party. I also was intrigued by the uniqueness of this one. It sparked a curiosity in me, and I had to keep choking back the urge to scoff at its childishness and get to the end, whatever it might have been.

It looks like Anything written by Zebedee is worth... a look, particularly "Good Heavens, Pepin!"

It's a fine imitation of some dead old English guy.

You forgot to mention the distinctive pattern that could be seen in the doily. It's a shame when things like this go unnoticed. :)

Wow. I can't believe you killed Jesus.
I liked this a lot, right up until the very end, where it seemed as if you gave up on your own story and the character, reverting back to a story told in a way that is all too familiar and tiresome to many people (Sq?).
Perhaps it would be more striking if the narrator would comment on his actions. Did he do the right thing or was it a terrible mistake?

I'd like to borrow some words if I may. Some other enthusiast can come along and give this proper attribution, but let's just remember that "The more things change, the more they stay the same."
That goes for injustice as much as anything else. It's a constant battle to uphold an ideal, but really that's all it is. It's different in every culture, and even within a given culture the ideal changes over time. If you've been fortunate in life, you will tend to believe more strongly in justice and be more incensed when it doesn't reveal itself, and if you haven't been lucky or good then you will tend to dismiss justice as a foolish notion.
I'll stop before this sounds like a sermon or a lecture. It just seemed like you are really looking for answers, so I hope that is food for thought and helps you in some way.

You said it. I love cute breasts, so you might have been writing for me. Unfortunately, it didn't fit everything else you had worked for up to that point, unless you're hoping this will turn into a slasher film.

I appreciate what you've done here, and you've inspired me to add a chapter.
If this isn't inspired by direct experience, you're a highly empathic poet. That said, I apologize if my chapter seems presumptuous. I lost a father to a drunk driver.

Shucks, I walked right into that one. Let me think about it.

Very, very abstract. I suppose I should tell you what his problem is.

Amazing! I can't remember the last time a storymash chapter got my blood pumping like this!

It's great the way you took the original idea and ran with it, put it on steroids, and then blew it up.
