The story so far:
I woke up in the morning feeling great. I dressed my best: a tuxedo, my hair slicked back, and perfume. Since I lived in a foster home, I always had to tell an attendant where I was going and why. I told Mr. Williams and he approved me, I knew he would. On my way Isaw a little kid. He looked very upset and homeless. I asked him what his name was, he said " George." He was mad at his parents for telling him he was punished, so he couldn't go to his friends house, as a result he ran away. I told him I would take him back home and talk to his parents for him, he was a little skeptical at first, but he finally agreed.
I finally made to 1200 W. 48 St. I came in feeling the best I ever could, Ifinally thought about something mom said to me, I knew she would be proud.
I went into the room and greeted the young man sitting down, his name was also George. The interview took about two hours and after that, he said I seemed like a sweet guy, but I am not cut out for the job. Everything I had built up went away. What just happened? Am I dreaming, or is this real? I forgot all about taking George home. He was calling me, I just ignored him. I felt bad after a while and had thoughts that I won't and can't mention about myself.
I was so dissapointed I didn't know what to do. That night I prayed and asked mom to forgive me, I hope she did.
