It was the beginning of winter, my favorite time of the year. Only good memories came around this time. Memories from my child hood that I miss. Following my normal routine I started getting the decorations and plans for the holidays. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years all to be excited for. It was November first, the first day of winter when my life changed. It was ten in the morning when I went for my regular yearly exam. Doctor Mimi was her name, she went through the regular physical but for some reason did an extra test. Unlike all the years before, she just wanted to make sure I was fine and took a few extra X-rays to make sure I was safe. Since all of my family have passed away, or was unreachable by phone or email, I didn't really know my health history so every year I just had to make sure nothing was going wrong. Who would have thought I would get that one call that everyone would avoid. That was the day I found out I had cancer.. The day I realize my life is now a live now life, cant plan for the future kind of life...
