A ridged column with a ball-point tip, like a little league teeball if teeballs were brown.  And wooden.  White doors maybe ten feet away, with button-sized handles to a room filled with button-sized things.  The bedpost is the world's least fuzzy peach kept from a room filled with peach-sized things, and so much lint it would make any respectful peach blush.  Peach fuzz being a thing of subtlety.  Lint fuzz being hard to romanticize beyond dirty.  Ah, but some peaches like to be dirty.  Other peaches like to sleep sound.
