Many lives are on this planet, all existing simultaneously. Mini-parallel universes interacting with one another. As overwhelming as it is, life consists of an infinite number of ingredients all bombarding us. The bottom line: you are here now but it is enough for one element to impact, something seemingly minute, and you are gone. Look at the global air traffic. If one plane crashes, it is tragic, yes, but - given the law of probability - not much can be done about it, can it. This doesn't mean that you should bunker up and that's that, just being aware of proportions around us. From the quantum to the grandiose...from tsunamis to Solar storms and other weird stuff, all weaving the tapestry of life.
