The Painting  by sidscifi

Jerry sat back in the tattered chair of his old 60's style office.

"I know the location of a rare Psycho Steve piece." He said. "Oh your dreaming." Nick said. Nick was sitting on the opposite side of the retro influenced desk. "Oh?" Jerry replied.

"Where is it? and why don't you have it?" Nick asked and he was terribly eager.  "Listen, it's in an old apartment building over on Humphrey and Ashley, you know, the one that caught fire?" "Yeah, the old abandondened one, jeez, is it a print or is it real?" Nick asked. "Far as I can tell, it's a genuine article." Jerry continued. "He'd always liked to work with different media, only 'cause he didn't know any better, but damn did his **** looked good."

"Now I KNOW you're dreamin." Nick said "All his pieces disappeared along with him, and as far as I remember, No one has been able to recover not one of them."

"Until now." Jerry said. "Well, which one is it?" Nick asked. "The darkness..." Jerry murmured.

"Are you even shitting me?" "Oh..... my god..."
