The story so far:
"New Project!!! 30 Days of Descriptions" -> (4 skipped) -> "The Growing Bump - 5 months" -> "The Growing Bump - From the Mouth of Babes"
The one thing I never cared too much for during pregnancy was the weight gain. I usually hit the recommended 25-30 pounds, but then my body decides to double or triple that. Not that many moms will tell you what they actually gained. I had a co-worker who delivered last year, and on her little blog about it she mentions gaining about 25 lbs. Ha! Sorry, I worked with her - she doubled in size if not more. But she's a first time mom - I'll cut her some slack. I think by the second or third, moms realize that it's actually better to fib on the heavy side. Then, when it's a year later and they haven't lost the baby weight, people aren’t too critical.
However, there’s something to be said for the birthing process – I mean, where else can you say "I lost 15 pounds in one night!"?
