So far, I am one of nine expecting mammas in our church.  For a small congregation that produces two to three babies a year on average, this has been insane!  I really feel for the children's director, as the nursery will be doubling within this next year.  The downside to the sudden boom is that I can't bum maternity clothes off of anyone, since we're all using them around the same time.  And it'll be hard to pass around baby clothes - although with infants out growing them every few months, it's more of a possibility.  It has been fun to have other ladies to share the experience with.  But when our pastor preached on church growth, I doubt this is what he had in mind.
