The story so far:
Something had to be done I kept thinking as I left the building with my car keys, something had to be done. First the damn killer had entered my mind and now he was after my daughter, this just couldn't be ignored. After a few minutes I was in the parking lot running for my car. As soon as I saw it I ran straight there running as if the killer were right behind me. I popped the keys into the door, almost broke the door as I threw it open, and was immediately reppeled by what I saw.
I turned my back to the car in order to gain some courage to once again peek at the contents, and then faced the car once more. Inside the car was a single human finger lying on the drivers seat. Enscribed on it was a note reading "For my little eavesdropper". I was stunned. "What did this mean?" I thought to myself. "How did this even get in here?"glancing left and right as if the answer were right there. I would have to put all this on hold, as my daughter was in trouble. I took out a napkin, draping it across the finger and carefully placed it in the backseat. Now it was time for some speed.
The next few moments were just blurs of cars honking, people screaming, and even a few middle fingers here and there. I didn't care for I began speeding the car even more when I saw or heard anything of such short. Red, green, and yellow lights were of so little importance to me that ran past them all. Racoons, bird, dogs, or cats I didnt care what or whom I hit as my daughter needed me.
Yet then I got to thinking that there was no possible chance that I could ever be able to beat this killer. He had undermined everyone, what could a pychiatrist who had strange dreams once in a while, do to a serial killer who couldn't get caught? This killer had even gotten his or her hands in my to car pretty much literally I thought as I turned quickly to look at the finger (pinky). The message had either been written in a pretty dark red or it was written with blood. It had to have been the killer who had placed this finger in my car I frantically thought.
Yet why would I be called an eavesdropper, unless he knew of my strange dreams, and perhaps had even sensed my presence during that one murder?
Whatever the killer or whomever had been thinking when they placed the finger into my damn car would have to wait as the highschool appeared straight in front of the car. I quickly got out of the car and immediately was attacked by several police sirens going off at once. "Damn my driving" I cursed to myself as I began running for the school entrance. As soon as I turned the corner and saw the front entrance I was stunned. Paige was being forced in to a van by a man whose face was hidden. Paige was thrown in to the van right when I started running straight for it.
The man slammed Paiges door shut, and opened his. And just as I ran up to the van, meeting eyes with Paige for a split second, it flew off. I ran straight back down the road, planning to take part in a race persay. Once I reached the car, I quickly jumped in, started the ignition, and took off down the road. Yet just as soon as I saw the van once more, police sirens began wailing behind me. I turned looking straight at the red and blue blinking lights and then collapsed in to another one of my "dreams".
This time I awoke on a familiar road. Something began pushing me from behind, taking me down the road, across streets, past cars, and stores. The first thing I found eerie was the fact that nothing was behind me and second I knew every store and road I passed. I was pushed onward as I was being taken somewhere, some place that I knew. Finally, I thought as I was stopped in front of an office. Actually it was my office.
Shocked out of my mind I thought of what horrors I would witness now. Perhaps Paige was being brought here. YES I thought finally this gift of mine had paid off. Though the invisible "wall" pushed me straight out of my thoughts and right into the building and finally in to my office. Before I was pushed straight in to the office I was able to catch a glimpse of the clock that had always hung over the door. It was now five p.m. two hours past my collapse in to this dream. This would allow for a chance to perhaps stop the devilish killer and save Paige. Everything would be alright I quietly said to myself. Everything would be just fine.
Forced to push open the door I walked straight in and saw nothing. Yet the force kept pushing me, straight in to Methra's office. There I saw a stunning sight. In front of me was the same figure that I had seen in my previous dream standing straight over Methra, chanting the Ten Commandments right upon Methra's bewildered face. First Paige, and now Methra. My life was destined to meet death face to face over and over I thought to myself as the killer readied himself to do something big.
"GOD DAMNIT, STOP THIS NONSENSE" I YELLED.
The killer and Methra turned as if they had heard something both inching their eyes in my direction. They can't see me I thought as their eyes landed right on the place where I stood...
