It was definitely the hardest winter ever with people complaining about unemployment, taxes, political scandals and heartbreaking news about people moving to other countries in search of a better life.The couple next door were laid off and moved to the countryside  "Everything seems to have collapsed" I thought to myself , what now?

I can't stand here waiting all summer as if the destruction of the planet is about to happen. I am really fed up and wish to run away, or at least escape for a while. What if we organise a camping trip? River parties take place all over Greece and it'll be fun to relax by the river in the company of good friends listening to favourite bands.

Without a second thought, I grabbed the phone to call Kathrene first. "We need a little adventure in our lives" I screamed out of enthousiasm.

However, nothing could prepare me for what was going to happen..
