Where would you like to take this? The beginning reminded me a bit of an Indian novel - The Dowry Bride - I think that was the title. Obviously, this moved away from the terror of running from your husband and his family and replaced it with that of a rabid beast. I would like to see where this story ends up. Great start!

The opening was good. Very descriptive and intriguing. I lost the urgency of the situation in the dialouge, though. She didn't seem winded or confused...it was like she accepted what was happening without question. I was looking for more about her feelings, I guess.
