How do you suggest a new project and get it approved? I've got what I think is a great idea and it would be really great to see the stories we get from it.

Ok, so here's my problem. The only thing I can really finish is short stories, poems, short stuff basically. The longest thing I've written is an issue of a comic. I start longer things, but by the time I start to make a dent in it; boom! Now I've got a new idea, and what I'm working on seems boring compared to my shiny new world. Anybody else have such a problem, or maybe even tip?

Why would he hope to die young; even if it WAS kind of a family tradition? I personally think he wanted to die young so that he could live however he wanted and be done before he could mature and feel guilt. I couldn't follow your narration at all. Your story was really just a stew of various situations and ideas that seemingly have nothing to do with each other. It's like listening to a crazy person ramble. And if that's what you were going for, then it just didn't work. Which sucks, because you seem like you can actually write pretty well. I loved the first few paragraphs about the hedgehog. Maybe if you try to build on those you can make this story work.
