How do you suggest a new project and get it approved? I've got what I think is a great idea and it would be really great to see the stories we get from it.

Ok, so here's my problem. The only thing I can really finish is short stories, poems, short stuff basically. The longest thing I've written is an issue of a comic. I start longer things, but by the time I start to make a dent in it; boom! Now I've got a new idea, and what I'm working on seems boring compared to my shiny new world. Anybody else have such a problem, or maybe even tip?

To answer your questions honeygloom: The title has nothing to do with his situation, but everything to do with his personality. And about the houses downtown; I've got no idea. I've been to New York once, but I do remember a few streets were apartments and houses were side by side

The only thing that wasn't clear to me was why Hal killed the doc, and the message he got afterwards. Did the doc release the virus, or did Hal. Who's the double agent in this screwjob

What's up everyone, I'm pssmyers, but you can call me steve.I'll admit, when I first came to storymash it was because of a craigslist.com advertisement saying they pay authors. Well, I've been around a few months, and I've published a few chapters; and I've managed to earn a respectable buck eighty-five! But you know what, even though I haven't even had the chance to touch the money yet (and won't until it reaches five bucks) I'm still here. I enjoy seeing all your work and getting your feedback on me; we've got something special here.
Now, let's get to know me. I'm Steve; a proud Irish mutt with problems. I'm usually bored, so I usually keep my writing fast paced. Then again, I like to slow it down sometimes. I'm variable.
I write about whatever I feel like at the time, so you can probably find something you like on my profile. Check me out; I'll return the favor.

Why would he hope to die young; even if it WAS kind of a family tradition? I personally think he wanted to die young so that he could live however he wanted and be done before he could mature and feel guilt. I also think that we should have more in depth discussions here on StoryMash. So, I'd love to see all your opinions on Jack as well.

Exactly. Dead Hedgehog Frisbee would be a grand, light-hearted romp. And no, I didn't pick up on any of that. If it's there it's invisible to me.

I couldn't follow your narration at all. Your story was really just a stew of various situations and ideas that seemingly have nothing to do with each other. It's like listening to a crazy person ramble. And if that's what you were going for, then it just didn't work. Which sucks, because you seem like you can actually write pretty well. I loved the first few paragraphs about the hedgehog. Maybe if you try to build on those you can make this story work.
