Only the Beginning.  by noobpod

Thain Fellt, a small dark haired boy with white skin around the age of twelve stood in front of his house crying. His parents had just been killed by a plague that had struck the town in which he lived. The large house in which he had lived no longer seemed happy and friendly. It now seemed dark and depressing. It was filled with to many terrible memories.

Jeeves ,Thain's butler, walked up to him and put his hand on Thain's shoulder. "It is time to go young master" said Jeeves. Thain looked up at Jeeves' kind face and smiled. "At least I still have Jeeves" thought the small boy.

Jeeves walked him to the small limozine and helped him into the car. Getting into the back Thain looked longingly at the house. Jeeves got into the front of the car in the driver seat looked back at Thain and asked "Are you ready to go master?". Thain replied "I will never be ready to go. But I cannot stay. Yes Jeeves, let's go"

----FOUR YEARS LATER----

Thain stood on a beach near the small cabin in which he lived. The beach was on the edge of a small, clear and sandy lake. The water brought him back memories of his childhood with his parents. The water also reminded him of Jeeves sacrifice. The one that cost him his life. Tears welled up in his eyes, everybody he loved was now dead.

Thain decided to go back up to his cabin. When he was halfway up the rocky path which he had made going up the hill to his cabin he saw something that caught his eye. "There's a man in the window of my cabin!" he thought to himself. Wanting to watch the man he got off the path and into the brush. He silenty ran up to the cabin window and peered in. The man was going through his stuff! The man was rapidly digging through the drawer in Thains dresser obviously looking for something.

Thain watched him for a minute. All of the sudden the man stopped. He stared into the drawer for what seemed a life-time. He then pulled out a picture of Thain's parents. He got an angry look on his face and threw it out of the window. Almost hitting Thain in the face. The man then pulled out a small old looking cell-phone. He dialed a number and once the person on the other end answered he said "This is defininatly the kid. I couldn't find the 'item' though. Once he comes back I'll make sure he doesn't leave the cabin ever again."

Thain pulled his head back from the window with a look of horror on his face. "This guy was the one who killed Jeeves!" he thought to himself. Thain crepped over to the picture of his parents and picked it up with his sweaty hands. He then broke out into a sprint and ran as fast as he could back down to the beach! When he got to the beach he ran to a log on the beach in which he had stored a back-pack full of provisions in case someone would ever come for him. He grabbed the back-pack and ran along the beach at full speed never stopping and never looking back.
