I’ve been told my scalp has a natural part on the left side, yet I persist in running that line over the right hemisphere of my skull.  Methinks that’s where my wavy cowlick stems from; the stubborn locks back there refuse to fall in accordance with my brush strokes.  If, indeed, I’m genetically inclined to part on my left, why could I see no indication when I used to get crew cuts at my barber?  A return to short summer trims might do me good.
