Beautiful and epic, Nash. 4.0 from me, I really enjoyed this and was a it pissed when it was over. I really don't want to continue this, I really want to see what's in your mind. But hell, it's a mash, ain't it? Again, Bravo.

This is the finished product, right Nash? Yes, this could be mashed AA.
In my opinion stories that are entries for the HAC should not be mashed, at least until the project is over. If it gets published, let the author bask in the win without having someone else hanging on their coattails.

Nash, this was spooky. The fear of hell and the anguish he felt for his sin felt real and you give the reader remarkable visuals. I could see the ending so clearly as I read it, watching him succumb. Becoming free.

Tough call on whether or not these should be eligible for mashing. If I didn't want that, I suppose I shouldn't've posted it. However, I think the author should have final say as to whether he wants to submit the individual chapter/story for HAC or submit a mashed product. While I'm open to the idea of people taking this places, for the HAC, I'm running it solo. (I'm not sure where it'd go anyway, as the jump sums the tale.)

We all have dark sides, TBH. I usually try to convince folks that mine's a deep tan from staying in the sun too long. (Maybe that's what baked my brain.)

Fabulous story and writing, nash. Absolutely HAC candidate worthy and it will likely find its way into the book. I think that HAC submissions should not be mashed. They are, afterall, finished stories.

I'm not sure....what was supposed to be scary about this. I'm not trying to be rude but I seriously do not find a bit of scariness within this story. Perhaps I have been distracted by other things so I'll give it a few re-reads...

Wow, intense, brooding and brutal. I cringed when he shut the window on himself. In the beginning, you just feel like this religious kid is a little scared cuz his girlfriends pregnant, but you can tell theres something more. Then you realize it, this guy is more then just freaked out, he's become some religious nutjob who can't forgive himself. Not sure if this would be a scary story per se, but dark it surely is.
