Hairwaii Five-O

I've had the same haircut since 1988. (On purpose, at least. Twice, I've gotten the number one clipper treatment because I was willing to save six bucks and let someone practice their cutting techniques on my head.) Other than those buzzes, it's been consistently the Republican-do: stylish without slick, elegant in its simplicity, basic and boring. Outside of Halloween and/or theater roles, I've never used hairspray, gel, mousse, Brylcream, or any other product. It's always been my natural color (and the rest of me is hairy enough that a Nash-wide color job would require a bucket of dye). Hell, I've even stuck with the economy versions of Head and Shoulders shampoo (plus conditioner!) for two decades. The last time I did anything different was my sophomore year of high school mini-mullet, when I discovered the left side of my long hair curls in and the right side curls out. I skipped the rattail, perm, spikes, skinhead, teardrop, artsy, mo-, faux-, and fro-hawks... And yet I still like it. Number two clippers, square back, scissors on the top, parted on the right, combed back. Classic.
