Hair Twelve
by nashvillebecker
Matthew 10:30 “And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.” But how are they categorized? I assume they’re not interchangeable, though the genetic structure appears the same. Through a microscope, could you tell the difference between two strands of my head fur? And what of people who choose to shave their tops? Do God’s numbers correspond to the roots, so a new follicle through the same pore would bear the same sequential identifier? Or is it whenever a hair falls out, its replacement must have a unique tag? Are they split into subgroups, like social security numbers or court dockets? 3703-268-55019, where the first four digits signify the exact color and tone, the next three are the length, and the last are the texture and any individual characteristics? All of those change, so would the number evolve? How can a paragraph begin with Scripture and end with evolution?
