Sitting on my front porch at 1:00 AM, I enjoyed the feeling of the cold breeze run past my face. I remember that night so clearly, as if it had been a sudden dream. The tall tree to the left of my view was swaying back and forth and from the distance it looked like it was in the shape of a familiar object, perhaps it looked more like a giant piece of broccoli. I shifted my eyes away from the tree to the right side of the sky and noticed the great amount of stars that were glowing brightly, so clear and mysterious. I then became lost in my thoughts as I considered the truth behind the universe. I often would contemplate on things while sitting outside glaring at the darkened sky. I thought maybe I should go get my digital camera so I could capture the moment, but then remembered that I had done that before, and not even a picture would capture exactly how I felt at that moment. Instead, I continued searching through each star noticing how every glare had its own unique movement and power, kind of like how our own souls are perceived to be. Suddenly it seemed like someone had flown down from the sky and taken away all interest in what I was thinking. I stood up blandly and noticed as I looked towards the street, something strange with an exciting mystery to it. It was like it just appeared to me for the first time, even though it had obviously been there ever since I could remember, it never "looked" the way I saw it that night. I gripped my jacket as an extremely cold front blew upon me. I shifted around towards my front door, slowly but not surely gripping the door handle to enter into my house.
