Whoa really good starter. suspensful and it gets the imagination rolling. great job.

Pretty cool, blackhand. Definitely has epic potential. I like the whole light vs dark, good vs evil theme. it could go in many different directions. i am curious to see where you take this.

I like this new angle on this story. However, it's a little short and i can't completely tell who's perspective we are seeing. My first thought is that it is the voice of Maggie, but i'm not totally sure. Either way, the writting is good. it has a poetic elegance to it that i really like.

Jesus man. **** amazing. Ten stars. The best things I've ever read are always those that make you feel the words; not read them or hear them, but feel them like they are alive and infectious. you have done exactly that. i want to add to this chapter but it may be a tough task. i'll have to wait until the chills running down my arms subside.

Thanks. Yeah, i thought about that too and wasn't really sure if i liked it or not. was hoping that the opening would build a little suspense but maybe it was unnessecary. feel free to nitpick as much as you want. everything helps. :)

That opening paragraph is incredible. I loved it. It sucked me in and the rest is just as good. so much depth, very moving.
