PSYCHO LET LOOSE

On Wednesday 7^th of November it was a dark misty night the only sound to be heard were silent hoots from owls in the woods, The woods was a place where people wouldn’t even think of going to on a dark night like that night, however one person did choose to go into the woods and that person was a 23 year old man called Luke.

Luke chose to go in to the woods because he had been at a friend’s house drinking alcohol all night as all of his friends threw a party for one of their birthdays, although it wasn’t a sensible idea for Luke to go in to the woods late at night he chose to cut through there as a shortcut so he could get home quicker. As he was really drunk and he wanted to be in the warmth of his house because it was so cold and foggy, little did Luke know but he wasn’t the only person who was in the woods. He heard a female voice humming he thought it would be just someone who was on their way home the same as he was, so he carried on walking to make his way through the forest.

The female voice wasn’t just a local who was on their way home though, she wasn’t on her way anywhere she had purposely planned to stay in the woods to hide herself away, she had escaped from a institution where she was placed as she was mentally unstable from the cause of losing her long term boyfriend in a car crash what he was involved in. While she carried on humming to herself keeping herself well hidden away from anyone who would be looking for her from the mental institution she was rudely disturbed by the sound of a cell phone ringing, it was lukes cell phone.

The person calling Luke at that time of the hour was his friend checking if he had got home safe as he was really drunk when he had left earlier on. The woman then got up and followed the cell phone sound until she had a clear vision of who else was in the woods , as soon as she noticed lukes shadow walking she jumped back behind a tree to make sure she wasn’t visible to anyone. Luke then answered the call and told his friend he had decided to go through the woods to get home much quicker, the reply he got back from his friend was make sure you call me as soon as you get home so I know you have got home ok, he sounded really worried. Before Luke could even say anything back his cell phone battery had gone out of charge.

Emily the woman who was hid behind the tree moved around the tree to get a clearer look at Luke to see who he was as she looked at his face she suddenly leaped to the floor and started screaming to herself, Luke heard the screaming and ran to see who it was to help them as he thought they was screaming because they were in danger. He followed the female voice of screaming until he reached where Emily was he ran to try and help her up to see what the problem was ,she turned around and said your back I have missed you so much please stay with me tell me everything I thought I had lost you forever. Luke said to her that she must have him mistaken for someone else looking puzzled as he didn’t know who Emily was and why she had just said that to him.

The reason Emily had said that to him was because in her eyes Luke was her ex boyfriend who had died in the car crash, she thought to herself that he was there stood in front of her and hadn’t died. Luke helped her up and then left to carry on making his way home, Emily then ran after Luke screaming at him not to leave her again , Luke was really panicking now as he didn’t know what Emily wanted, then out of the middle of nowhere she jumped out at Luke and they both landed on the floor , he said to her get off me who are you I’m going home , she replied back you are home back with me where you belong, Luke then called her crazy and said she needs locking up. Emily didn’t like lukes reply or the tone of voice what he said it in, she didn’t want to lose him she reached out behind her and grabbed a stone and held it firmly in her hand and raised it above lukes head and said if you leave me now you leave me forever she raised the stone higher above lukes head ready to hit him with it.
