I wrote this snippet last summer and haven't been able to go anywhere with it. I was thinking that each chapter would go back in time by one scene, so that the last scene would be the beginning of the story... what do you think? Any ideas?

This story is the result of a creative writing prompt by my friend. She said to write something about a guy in a coffee shop, named him Bob, and said he was dealing with the problem of making his rent. She then changed the name of the character twice or maybe three times, but I already had my idea. Thoughts?
