“Moonstone, can you come here for a minute”! My dad shouted.“Coming” I yelled. “Yes Daddy”? I asked. “Do you know where my keys are”? He asked. “Last time I saw them there were in the truck” I said. I went back upstairs to put a head band on and put make-up on. Tomorrow is the school dance and I still need a date, I was planning to go with a bunch of my friends but they have dates, so why not go alone maybe I'll met someone there. “Hey Dad, can I go to the dance tomorrow night”? I asked. “Sure as long as you let me help pick the dress” he said. “Ok” I said happily. My friend Neptune picked me up just like the usual for school.

When we got to school we had about 10-15 minutes to get to class. My phone rang. “Hey, Dad why are you calling me schools about to start” I said. “I'm calling you because I want to know why are you at school so early”? He said. “What are you talking about It's 7:30” I said confused. “It's not 7:30 it's 6:30, you forgot to set your clock an hour forward didn't you”? He asked. “I guess did forget to set my clock” I said.

“Okay Dad I got to go don't forget that you have to help me find a dress today and I've got a date so don't mess this up ok” I said quietly. “Who's your date to the dance” he asked. “Neptune” I said quietly. My phone rang.“Hello, My name is Carlos Pena and I called you because you have a chance to be in the Big Time Rush Band and I will pay for you to come Los Angles, California, I'll even meet you at the airport. Ok you have two weeks to get back to and have your decision bye Mrs. Son” Carlos said. “Neptune we've got a problem, I just got the opportunity to be in the Big Time Rush and I don't know what to do” I said and I fell on the ground crying. “MoonStone don't cry it's ok we'll do everything we can to do to figure this out, ok I will tell you know that if you chose to go California I will come with you to be with you every step of the way ok” he said sweetly and kindly. “Ok thank you so much for being my friend” I said and gave him a kiss on the cheek. After school my dad and I went to Wal-Mart to find a dress for the dance Friday. I found three dresses that I really liked. One was a strapless dress that is purple. One was a spaghetti strap that is blue. The last one is an off the shoulder black dress. “Daddy can I have all of them”? I asked nicely.

“Sure,but you have to do chores for two weeks” Dad said. “Ok and Dad can I have some money to buy jewelry” I asked. “Ok, I'll take you to Hot Topic” he said. We went to Hot Topic and there I saw my best friend Naruto. “Naruto how are you?” I asked. “I'm better” he said. “Well I'll see you later” I said.

I bought a ring,a necklace and a bracelet. After I paid for the jewelry Dad and I went to eat at the new Chinese Restaurant by the Wal-Mart. When we got home I stayed up watching Inuyasha,Kekkaishi,FMA,Shugo Chara and Ouran Host Club. Then I started thinking about the dance and how I was going to do my make-up, how to do my hair, which dress I should wear. Sometimes I wish my mom were helping do my hair, doing my make-up and all that jazz, but she's not, she died right after StarLight was born. Sometimes it feels like shes right by me every step of the way. I turned of the computer and fell asleep listening to Three Days Grace.

I decided to wear the spaghetti strap blue dress to school and wear the strapless purple dress to the dance.
