Why the fear?
Fear means – self expecting, will face punishment.
If your honest and truthful man, fear should not come near.
God is great.
Father and mother equal to god.
Do you obey your parents, because love them? Or, do you obey them out of fear?
Do you study because you love your books? Or, do you study out of the fear of failing?
Do you pray, because you love god? Or, do you pray out of the fear that he may punish you?
If you do things out of fear, then you are weak. Fear belongs only to cowards.
Fear is a terrible thing.
Fear makes you do things for which you have to run away and hide.
Fear makes you cringe and bow to others.
Fear makes you tell lies to get out of unpleasant situations.
Fear makes you dishonest.
And most of all fear steals away your dignity.
The child, who is scared of getting a scolding, for not having done its home work, will either tell a lie, or copy the homework from a friend.
A number of people claim to have the boldness to break laws, defy rules and deliberately commit mistakes. These people are actually cowards. They never have the courage to own up their faults. They fear the punishment that they deserve for their errors.
Sometimes, friends may tempt you to be sly and to do things which are forbidden. Do you have the courage to say `no’? Or, do you join them because you fear you might lose their friendship? When you are caught, then it is these very friends who will desert you, because they live in fear too.
To live in fear is to live alone.
Sometimes people are scared of the dark, of going up and down in closed lifts or even of flying in aero planes. There are others who may fear crossing a street or taking a walk alone. These fears may be robs you of you dignity and honesty turns you into a person who cannot be trusted.
Try not to do anything that will make you fear the consequences later on.
If you are honest and forthright, you will have nothing to fear.
