This is an interesting direction! You did a good job relating the feelings of not being able to share the experience with others, as well as setting it up for another chapter.

I recommend expanding on your work a bit. Bring in more description - what did he do during those two weeks? Was it hard for him to sleep at first because he was worried about the ghost child returning? Did he try to figure out who she used to be? Etc.
