You are right, i was thinking about the same thing you just wrote and i think nobody like to spend sometime on reading someone's creation as all of us are running after a fastest train and we are afraid what if we wouldn't get it.I mean Time run so fast and people might wana do something else for their own creation rather than voting or commenting on others efforts.But if we really want to get some readers,we will have to read others creation firstly and commenting.
