It was raining! It seems like it always raining in Tacoma. Marta was in a hurry. she had to meet her quota. He wouldn't be happy with her if she came in short again.
Tightening her coat around her, Marta looked anxiouly up and down the street. It was late and she only need one or two more johns to meet the quota.
The black Lexus slowed as it came around the corner. "Ah, There's one" he thought as he saw the girl standing under the bus shelter. She was petite and Had golden hair that glistened under the street light. She would do just fine. Yes She would be just fine.
Marta saw the Lexus slowing down as it approached her. She felt a shiver inside and an uneasy feeling in the pit of her stomach. She shook it off and slowly walked up to the car. " Are you looking to party? she asked the shadow sitting behind the steering wheel.
THe car was turning onto the freeway ramp. Marta was chatting with the driver who was friendly enough. He said his employer was looking for the company of an attractive young woman and was willing to pay very well for her time. Marta would surpass her quota and Would have Plenty enough left over to spend on herself.
The house was in a secluded area. It was big and luxurious. When they entered the door, Marta was amazed by the oppulance of the furnishings. The driver took her into a spacious room and offered her a drink she gladly accepted as she sat close to the fireplace to warm herself.
As Marta sat on the sofa sipping a gin and tonic, she began to feel strange. Maybe disoriented would be a better word. The uneasy feeling in the pit of her stomach was back. Something was wrong, something was very wrong. Marta tried to get up to run but she couldn't move. She could taste the panic as it rose up inside her. Then there were two men standing over her. The last thing she would hear was screaming, her own voice screaming.
