"October Chill"

October Chill- Happy Halloween  by jellybean_23

Worth remembering? I thought. Then stared staight ahead peering at his backside before I scolled myself out loud . Why did I do that, why did I let him come in, conversate with him, tell him about my family as if I knew him!

Iyelled. Turning from the front door then back to the door again, I realized 1st I didn't see him anymore and 2 since he was gone why was I standing there with my door still open? Finally after the mental and verbal scolling, I retired to my couch not to sit aimlessly like when I'm not working and I wanted to kill time, this moment was to really find some answer and if not answer then clarity concerning this man of darkness.

"RING,RING!" The phone startle me as I woke (unaware that I went to sleep) one reason why is because I'm home from work early today, and no one knows that. The only one that has my house number is my best friend and he is at work. "Hello." I said in a shaky vioice  picking the phone up on the second ring.  "Happy Halloween let the festivity begin.
