Nice read WW! I like the tension building and great way to leave us hanging on the towel thing. Although if Addie and Ron have been together for 25 years I don't know how because she strikes me as no-nonsense and tough and Ron's a bit of a flake. The woman in me likes that of course!! =)

I know the topic of this forum is Introductions and although I have written on Storymash before, it's been quite a long time. So re-introductions may be more the way to go.

I love to read and write but there never seems to be enough hours in the day. Unfortunately for me, I have to do a little thing called work that takes up to many hours that could be better spent writing.

I'd like to blame it all on work, but in truth, I have too many hobbies as well. Anything and everything from biking, bowling, golfing, camping and line dancing. Hence the constant insanity.

If something has to suffer so that I can spend equal amounts of time doing all the fun things I love, sleep is usually the hobby I do without.

It could very well be the Irish in me, but I think life is to short not to do all the things you want to and there is nothing wrong with dreaming big.

Anything else you want to know, just let me know. Thanks for tuning in!

YOUR WELCOME and Great chapter Cornelius! (hehe) Very descriptive, right down to the "Christmas Ham". I agree with Chloe as well about giving the Sound Machine the ability to feel but not really knowing that is what it's doing. I like that they are pulled in two directions, first the government and then the mess they created with Bentley, Inc because they were double dippers=) Kudos!

Thanks theblackhand and Jamaican_writer! Are you both going to submit something for round 9? It will be interesting to see where they take the story next as there are only two rounds left.

I saw a few comments that writers had their stories done. Is it just a question of not wanting to post your story first? As another good writer once said....the longer it's out there, the more it can be read and voted on... (I hate going first also, so I can understand=)

I’ve read a lot of the introductions and debated whether or not to add my own as I am generally a shy person by nature. Who am I? I’m a red-headed, green-eyed Irish girl. I currently have four tattoos but can’t wait to get one more and several piercings as well. After all, you only live once, so you might as well do the things you make you happy! I’m not judgmental or confrontational, but I am hot-headed (must be the Irish in me), but it blows over quickly.

I love to read and love to write. All of my friends and family come to me when they want something they’ve written to be “pretty.” This normally translates to “not redneck style.” I’ve written many things off and on over the years and have recently started several stories, but there are never enough hours in the day for all the things that need to be done.

I work for the School Board, in the Purchasing Department and it keeps me pretty busy. When I am not working, I can be found at the bowling alley on Friday nights for my league. I love trying anything new, well just about anything. I love diving, hunting, 4-wheeling, throwing darts and playing word games. Scrabble and Quiddler are my favorites.

I came across Storymash by chance one day, and absolutely love it!! I’ve already learned so much by reading the suggestions given to me as well as the stories that have been submitted. Most everyone on here has been great. That’s it for me, for now anyway. Muah!!
