You know…there were two big questions going through my mind when I started this chapter…
I was wondering, “What about Charles? What would she say to him…about the twins. How was she going to be able to convince him she was all right?
And…
What’s going on with Ophelia? Her role is obviously critical due to the nature of Randy’s death and her involvement. It’s been interesting to me how Maggs deals with the cat compared to the twins.
Anyhow…you answered both questions!
I think the getaway is a great idea…and the ending was perfect.
Another terrific chapter. This is certainly one of my favs here. I can’t wait for SM to add the ‘tracking’ feature so I can be alerted each time you add a new one.

Hey, as a side note…if you’re ever interested in continuing Johnny boy, let me know. We could go back and continue it from a different chapter. I know my last couple entries were a little bizarre. I got carried away with the Sci-Fi approach. But I think you created a really great character and I hate to see him dissolved…especially because of my bad chapters.
Think about it. But only after you think about Maggie and Ophelia and Charles and Randy and the Twins first!

I really do want to continue Johnny Boy! And, believe me, though your chapters were a bit on the bizarre side, I did enjoy them...very "Restaurant at the End of the Universe" type of thing...one of these days I will pick up on that.I was quite interested in the clone aspect....also, congrats on the contest!!! I am so happy for you and I know it is very well deserved. Great job. And, as always, thanks again for the comments on the Maggie story.
