honeygloom…Extraordinary continuation! I’ve gone back and re-read ‘Dust Bowl’ again, and then again for good measure. I’ve even taken the time to look up the Guthrie album and the history behind the ‘black blizzards’ caused by the great depression. My absolute favorite words to read are the ones that make me stop and think…and even sometimes do research.
Then you hit us with ‘Dies Irae.’ Awesome! (First time I got a taste of that was with one of Anne Rice’s Vampire books…cant remember which one now?)
And the sincerity and emotion portrayed in your dialogue is terrific. Definitely hope to hear more about growing up Mormon.
One curiosity though, and definitely don’t take this as any sort of a negative…Where is this going?
While the thoughts are deep, intriguing and thoroughly addicting, will they amount to something more than just seemingly random entries from someone’s journal or diary? Or is that the point?
Not that it really matters…you got me hooked. I’ll be checking back daily for more!
