Day Twenty-Four: The Speed of Stasis  by honeygloom

Seems they’ve reached a moment of stasis. No more dying, no more growing. No ripening, no rotting. Are my tomatoes traveling at the speed of light? When they get back will I be older and they still the same? If only I were happy with that. I’m not. I need growth or death. I need progress or regression. Stasis makes me uncomfortable, leaves me nothing to push against.
