No better or worse today than they were yesterday. In a  moment of flash introspection I wondered why I hadn’t googled “sick tomatoes” to try and get to the bottom of this. But I’m fascinated with decay… and convinced the tomatoes are genetically inferior. Doomed to a short life. I bought them at Home Depot, the botanical equivalent of a puppy mill. Cruelly, I’m tempted to cut off one of their essentials. I’ll stop watering them and mark the next eight days of decomposition.
