Mmm, it's quite a shame how low the activity is on this. Between fellow community members, I mean. I for one, love getting feedback on my works. It gives real encouragement, and even the negative comments will at least help you improve in your writing.

I'll be commenting a lot more on other people's works, and hope I get the same in return.

I agree, but below 700 words is too small

Is it just me or has variations on whining about not having enough feedback on stories been the featured story for a few days running now? And what sort of ridiculous regulation is this:

"Everyone should vote or comment on at least five other peoples work before posting more of their own that way everyone has a chance too get some feed back."?

If people want to post things they've written and don't want to comment on other people's work, does it really matter?

I agree with you but I do like reading other peoples but maybe five comments is just a bit too much. Sometimes you don't know how to comment on certain types of written text other times people are lazy but how do you expect others to comment or rate your work when you wont do the same?

You're totally right, a lot of whining about not enough "commons" on here.

And while it really doesn't matter if someone doesn't comment on or rate anything, I think people really would appreciate constructive criticism to help their craft, or just a nice pat on the back for a job well done.

Actually I have spent the last few days doing my best too do exactly what I said. I have been spending time viewing anyone's work that I have seen being active.

As for doing 5 comments I only recommended that because if all of you did that then activity would take off. Its really not that hard but it would be extremely helpful for the storymash community.
