:( Sorry everyone! I completely fell off the face of the story mash internet for... 7 months. When I signed up for the project, I was not expecting to disappear like this.

I think the "tone" changed a little... less conversational or casual maybe. But still, good job with picking up where the last chapter left off.

The original chapter never mentioned that Thomas was "ordinary looking." Only that he was stuck in a ordinary life. And, since Samoht's name was a mirror, I figured the characters would mirror in more ways than one. It was tricky figuring out the remainder of the plot from that bit of inspiration though. Good luck to the next sucke... writer, I mean writer! :}

grrr... I even had a sheet of paper next to me with Malika's name spelled out so I could look at it when typing it out so that I didn't mess up. I hate when I do that. Samoht was a lot harder to type repeatedly because the finger muscle-memory says T before H. Upon review, I'm glad I messed each up ONLY once. :( Wish I hadn't messed up at all though.

I also must proudly agree with the Twilight assessment. Considering I was working off of WBScott's previous title, my impression of Twilight is exactly where the title came from.
