This was a sweet story. It was different in a good way and made me think. I like that kind of writing. Keep up the good work!

I saw your nice comment on my story and thought I would check you out... This was a really good chapter and, like toonatenea said, has the potential to become a very good story. I liked the descriptions and I could visualize Joel in my mind. The only thing I would recommend is to maybe have some sort of twist or cliff hanger at the end that has the reader wondering what comes next. Still, it was very good. Keep it up!
